Tony Davis
Vice President of Marketing
Tony has direct experience in supply chain management in both a military setting and civilian setting. Prior to this role, Tony served as a 92Y in the United States Army. He was responsible for the sourcing, procurement, management, shipping, receiving, inventory control, cost analysis, vendor relations, and general operations oversight for all unit assets. Tony played a primary role in an artillery battalion during mission operations, while supporting all ranks that include over one hundred soldiers.
Tony has been a member of ASCM for over 7 years and currently serves on the ASCM Los Angeles Board of Directors as the Vice President of Marketing. He has also served as Vice President of Marketing for ASCM Phoenix Forum. While serving in Phoenix, Tony was awarded Member of the Year, 2020 and played a vital part in pivoting the marketing plan during the pandemic to boost membership and education plans. Ultimately awarding the forum with the APICS C-BAR Platinum.
Tony graduated top of his class in the Quartermaster Corps- Logistics Training Department (LTD) and received the Unit Armorer Certification, this certification sets Tony apart from his peers by allowing him to establish accountability of individual and organizational sensitive items. Tony has also passed the APICS Learning Dynamics for Instructors course, APICS Train the Trainer course, and is currently pursuing the APICS CPIM (Certified in Planning and Inventory Management designation), and will immediately after join the APICS IDP (Instructor Development Program). He will also graduate with a Bachelor's in Supply Chain Management from Arizona State University.
