"Ayman Assaad has more than 20 years of experience in supply chain and operations management with major international and local companies across a wide variety of industry sectors and more than 10 years of experience in conducting orientation and training classes for business leaders. He participates in the roll out, implementation and promotion of lean supply chain principles as well as change management initiatives credited with improving corporate production processes and increasing corporate revenue. He has excellent communication skills with in-depth knowledge of production and assembly processes and demonstrated success leading business and strategic development functions on an international scale.

Ayman currently works as Director of Operations in the consulting field, leads a pool of qualified business development, lean supply chain and six sigma consultants and trainers to improve and enhance work environment as well as reach customer satisfaction while maintaining profitability. Prior to this, Ayman was engaged in highly sophisticated and advanced manufacturing and transactional environments in many managerial and execution levels of multiple-projects in Mercedes-Benz AG in Germany and overseas. He played a key role on the management team that facilitated the plant’s ability to be named as the best Mercedes-Benz CKD Plant worldwide 3 years in a row.

Ayman recently serves as a Director of Education at APICS Los Angeles Chapter. He is designated as an APICS Master CSCP Instructor, Associate Global Sourcing Instructor, Associate Lean Enterprise Instructor, Associate Principles Instructor, and Associate Instructor Training Instructor. He was nominated as the first qualified Supply Chain Operations Reference - SCOR® Model Trainer in the Middle East from the Supply Chain Council, 2009. He currently holds APICS CSCP and SCOR/P certifications. Ayman has a Bachelor's of Science, Mechanical Engineering from Alexandria University, 1991.
