ASCM is a not-for-profit international educational organization respected throughout the world for its education and professional certification programs. With more than 50,000 individual and corporate members in 20,000 companies worldwide, ASCM is dedicated to using education to improve the business bottom line.

Founded in 1957 as the American Production and Inventory Control Society, APICS has since expanded its focus to include a full range of programs and materials on individual and organizational education, standards of excellence, and integrated resource management. To reflect this new direction, we are now known as ASCM.

Elevate your career with ASCM membership

Valuable member discounts are offered on educational programs, certification exams and reference materials. ASCM Los Angeles also extends membership benefits for Chapter-sponsored events to Institute for Supply Management, and Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) members if the membership affiliation is noted upon initial registration.

As a member, you can attend quality educational programs, including symposia, workshops, and an annual International Conference and Exhibition. Members can stay on the cutting edge with monthly issues of the ASCM 's official magazine, ASCM—SCM Now, and quarterly issues of ASCM' Production and Inventory Management Journal.

As an ASCM member, there are additional "special member services" that are available through ASCM . Unemployed members can apply for the Benefit Extension for Unemployed Members. Offerings include discounted member rates on group insurance, credit cards, car rental, retirement plans, and more. Are you a full-time student or academic? Recent graduate new to supply chain? Distance Learning with ASCMLA

ASCM Los Angeles Distance Learning package is designed for candidates unable to attend weekly classes due to schedule constraints. All Distance Learning modules are supported by a Master Instructor as designated by the ASCM Instructor Development Program.
