This presentation will discuss the importance of matching your process improvement effort to your company's culture, and how to go about doing that. This talk is based on Khaled Mabrouk's experience both 1) watching companies change the message of their Industrial Engineering &improvement effort to the latest fad, without considering, based on their culture and needs, what their process improvement effort should focus on, and 2) interacting with individual's leading LEAN/Six Sigma/CI efforts at larger organizations, and learning about the challenges they deal with.
Khaled is a Process Excellence Leader for Sustainable Productivity Solutions. He has over 20 years experience as an Industrial Engineer, both as an external consultant and as an internal consultant.
Khaled's area of expertise is to help companies reduce their operating ratios through Continuous Improvement. Specifically, Khaled manages process improvement projects, develops leaders' workforce engagement skills, develops strategies to implement Continuous Improvement, converts strategy into tactics, coaches leaders on how to execute strategy & tactics, and solves difficult process related problems.
He has published 20 articles, spoken both at major conferences and frequently for local chapters of IIE, SME, APICS, etc.
