Aaron Johnson

Aaron is Director of Sales and Marketing of iSeries Solutions for DKM, Inc. DKM delivers complete enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions, including services, software, hardware, and supporting applications such as Supply Chain Management and CRM/Sales Force Automation. Aaron helps clients with software requirements definition, hardware sizing, high availability, outsourcing, facilities management, and software/hardware maintenance configuration assistance. Aaron holds a BA and MBA from the University of California, Riverside.

Dana Guidice

Dana Guidice has been VP of product development & manufacturing for Vans Inc/Protec for the past 6 years. Vans/Protec is a $500 million global company and is a subsidiary of Vanity Fair Corporation which has global revenues exceeding $6 billion. Having held similar positions with Reebok Int and Adidas over the previous 15 years, Dana is an expert in the sourcing, development, manufacturing, logistics and supply chain of footwear & sporting equipment. He has also been actively involved in ERP (SAP) roll out to several corporations. Dana's success and expertise lies in building teams and processes to manage product lifecyle from design to delivery to customer. Vans has seen business double from 2002 levels and currently enjoys an on-time delivery rate of 90%+. Mr. Guidice is a graduate of Framingham State College (MA) with a degree in Microbiology.

Steve Buchwald, CIRM, PMP, has over 25 years of industry experience helping companies become more competitive and profitable while improving overall quality levels. He provides Activity Based Costing (ABC), Activity Based Management (ABM) and other financial education and consulting services. Steve has experience in Supply Chain Management, Change Management, Operations, Inventory Control, Finance, Continuous Process Improvement, and Total Quality Management.

A noted speaker and lecturer, Steve teaches courses on JIT, TQM, and MRPII for APICS, and has spoken nationally and internationally. His writings have appeared in CFO Magazine, APICS-The Performance Advantage Magazine, and in the Chapter's newsletter and web page. Titles include "Leveraging the Supply Chain to Develop the Most Effective Business Strategy", "Throughput Accounting—A Recipe for Success" and "Changing Manufacturing Concepts."

Steve's in-depth knowledge, coupled with "hands-on" skills have brought successful results for manufacturing and retail companies of all sizes throughout the United States. He has helped companies reduce inventory, eliminate inventory shrinkage, and install ABC/ABM programs that have contributed to profit turnarounds.

He holds a Master of Arts degree from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. Steve has held various positions in consulting, production and management.

Mark Betancourt

Mark Betancourt is an Operations Professional with over 18 years experience in aviation and high tech industries. Currently, he provides Change Management support as an Integrated Product Team (IPT) Member of the F/A-18 and NUCAS Programs for the Integrated Systems division of the Northrop Grumman Corporation. He coordinates and administers changes between Product Definition and the Procurement Organizations, requiring an extensive knowledge of Supply Chain and Inventory Management, Engineering Design Review, and Program business systems. Mark’s strong points are program management, scheduling and planning, materials, and manufacturing. Over the years he has been able to promote operational improvements through his understanding of supply chain management, lean manufacturing, material JIT, product development, and manufacturing procedures. Mark has a BS degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix.

Andre is the Production/Material Control Manager, Hydrospin - Seamless Pressure Vessels, Huntington Beach. In the past 20 years, he has been involved with many aspects of materials management including master scheduling, purchasing, vendor managed inventories, kanban development, inventory planning and manufacturing database management. Andre is a graduate of El Camino College with an Associate of Science Degree in Manufacturing Technology Management.
