Jeff Ames has more than 30 years of experience as a leader and manager with various manufacturing companies as a supply chain management professional. As a Materials Manager and Director of Supply Chain. Jeff's experience has been in the consumer electronics, chemicals, and aerospace industries. Within the last two years, Jeff  gained certifications as a Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and holds a Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.). As teaching is his passion, Jeff began a career in education as an sixth grade teacher for Los Angeles Unified School District.
Jeff has taught all the CPIM courses and was the VP of Education for the Ventura County Chapter in the early 1990's.  Jeff had achieved Certified Fellow in Production and Inventory Management (CFPIM),.
As a Senior Manager, Jeff became a "sought after" ERP enterprise business systems trainer and business consultant, utilizing QAD MFG-PRO, working for Arthur Andersen and Deloitte and Touche. Jeff led consulting teaming to help implement QAD MFG-PRO for Crane Aerosystems, Avery Dennison, Schlumberger Industries, and A.T. & T.
Jeff graduated the Pepperdine Graziado School of Business and Management with honors, 1998. He also holds an elementary teaching credential from UCLA and a Bachelor's of Science in Liberal Studies from San Diego State University.
Jeff and his wife, Teresa live in El Segundo with their dog Charlie, a Shetland sheepdog. In addition to spending time with family and friends, Jeff and Teresa are avid USC Trojan football supporters as they have attended every home game since 2004. Jeff has been a die hard Trojan fan since he was a boy.
