PROGRAM OVERVIEW:
The C-17 is the world's premier heavy-airlift aircraft and has proven itself as a versatile strategic and theater airlifter in every recent worldwide operation, from Operation Iraqi Freedom to humanitarian relief missions. Come join us with this tour to learn what is C-17's unique capability, what is their high performance programs about and why C-17 is so special that no other airlifter can substitute.

All attendees must wear comfortable closed-toe walking shoes for the tour…high heels and sandals are NOT allowed. Cameras are NOT permitted on the tour, and each guest need will need to present a valid photo ID (driver’s license or passport) to receive their badge. For security reasons, tour is available to U.S. Citizens only. Directions to Boeing Long Beach: Take 405 fwy to Cherry Ave NORTH exit (second Cherry Ave exit). Proceed north on Cherry Ave to first stoplight. Turn right onto Wardlow Rd and proceed to first stoplight. Turn right onto Boeing Way. Stay in left lane and follow signs to Visitor Parking. Security Guards will direct the attendees into lot 18 for parking. Attendees will meet across the driveway at the Security Booth for badging

Alan joined the company in July 2007. Before coming to Boeing, he completed a highly successful career in the United States Air Force where he held key jobs at the squadron, wing, major command and joint command levels. He was the Director of Staff at Headquarters Air Mobility Command and commanded the 634th Air Mobility Support Squadron at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam. He was a command pilot with over 3,500 flying hours in the C-5 and C-130 aircraft.
He is a graduate of the University of Southern California where he received his bachelor of science degree in business administration. He has a master of science degree in operations management from the University of Arkansas and is a graduate of the United States Air Force Air War College, Joint Forces Staff College, United States Marine Corps Command and Staff College, United States Air Force Command and Staff College, and United States Air Force Squadron Officer School.
Alan is married and has two adult children. He enjoys cooking and travel. | REGISTRATION
