PROGRAM OVERVIEW:
New product introduction is an exciting dynamic environment. New aerospace products have their own unique requirements. Multilevel Bills of Materials with design authority spread over multiple levels of customers and suppliers in the supply chain are only part of these requirements.

The APICS Body of Knowledge provides a program map to the introduction of new aerospace products using the essential elements of supply chain management, planning of resources, scheduling and planning, execution and control of operations and management of resources.

APICS training for the members of the new product introduction team aids in communication because of the common vocabulary and increases the effectiveness all members because they can see the big picture and the interconnections of the processes after the training. See how the APICS Body of Knowledge improved outcomes in a recent commercial aerospace new product introduction.
