PROGRAM OVERVIEW:

When you visit the doctor for an X-ray, you are getting an internal snapshot to see if everything is working the way it should be, and that everything is in its right place. An X-ray of your organization is no different; it is a look inside to see what is working, what is not and/or what is missing that should be there. Another way to put this is you look to see where you were, are and could be. Other names for this process include a strategic assessment or an environmental scan.

 

The evening will include an interactive, participant-driven case study to utilize some of the tools & techniques discussed. So, bring an open mind as well as a willingness to look honestly inside and out.

 ABOUT THE SPEAKER:

Daniel Feiman, MBA, CMC® & Visiting Professor is the Founder and Managing Director of Build It Backwards, based in Redondo Beach, CA. He focuses in three areas: Strategy: Planning & Implementation; Finance: Modeling & Analysis; and Process: Lean & Continuous Process Improvement.

 

Mr. Feiman is an internationally recognized leader in these areas, working with firms such as: ADNOC (United Arab Emirates), Apple, ARAMCO (Saudi Arabia), California Institute of International Business & Economics, California Manufacturing Technology Center (CMTC), Commercial Finance Conference, Credit Suisse, Hilton Hotels, Institute for Supply Management (ISM), Mattel, PEMEX (México), Promigas (Colombia) Reliance (India), SEA (Supplier Excellence Alliance), The Small Business Development Center (SBDC), TRW, and the University of Manchester (UK), among others.

He is currently co-authoring the fourth book; THE Book on Continuous Process Improvement: The Never Ending Quest for Perfection, which is due to be published in 2012.
He is adjunct faculty at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Extension Department (since 1990) and The Visiting Professor in the University of Huddersfield’s (UK) Business School. He is also a reviewer for the New York Journal of Books.
