Practitioner Workshop:  Combining SCOR®, Lean & 6 Sigma
Facilitator: Dan Swartwood
August 15, 2014
8:00 – 5:00 Workshop (7:30 Registration)
Objective:  Discuss Tools, Processes & Analysis available in SCOR®, Lean, & 6 Sigma, and how to leverage the synergy and strengths of each to prioritize projects that improve end-2-end business value.

Why should you combine the objectives of your Lean and/or Six Sigma and SCOR® programs and projects?   This blending adds tools and depth to your Supply Chain Optimization program.  The group will discuss how to make all your puzzle pieces come together into one performance improvement picture.  Particular attention will be given to discuss metrics in Lean and/or Six Sigma programs and how these may integrate with the SCOR® framework.

This one-day session on combining SCOR®, Lean and Six Sigma for continuous improvement is being offered for a nominal fee to share the SIG work to date and also gather your feedback and opinion from a practitioner point of view.   If you are a supply chain professional who can visualize the possible major benefits of combining SCOR® implementation with Lean Sigma implementation, your opinion in this session will be highly valuable, and you should walk away with some immensely rewarding ideas for your future implementations.
Prerequisites:  Attendees must be trained in either Lean or Six Sigma and know the fundamentals of SCOR® to be able to effectively participate.  The Advanced SCOR® Overview will be held for attendees with limited SCOR® knowledge to help bring them up to speed for the discussion, but basics of SCOR® must already be understood in advance of attendance to benefit from this session.
