PLS is the 3-day mid-level certification for individuals in logistics or in senior level supply chain positions requiring a broad understanding of the key concepts and terminology of logistics and supply chain. The PLS designation recognizes individuals with a core competency for understanding logistics and supply chain management aspects.

The PLS designation will assist you in advancing your career while giving you the foundation to improve your company's competitive position and profitability. PLS training topics include issues confronting logistics and supply chain managers around the globe: competitive strategy; customer value and service; logistics costs and performance; responsiveness; lead-time management; collaboration; globalization; risk management; supply chain process integration; transforming the logistics organisation.

At the completion of the program, participants can take the certification exam (not included in workshop fees) and have the opportunity to earn the PLS designation. The American Society of Transportation & Logistics – AST&L – is the governing body for the PLS designation.
